Spring 2019 Conference
Western Colorado / Grand Mesa Area
Fri-Sat-Sun | 19-21 April 2019
Update Monday 4-29-19: Most of the audio and much of the video recordings of the conference have beeen posted on restoration archives. Denver has made his paper on Civilization available on his site. Transcripts of the talk and the Q&A should be available in the coming weeks. The audio of the Adolpho’s presentation is also on the archives.
We are very excited as we have locations that will allow us to really spend a lot of time with one another and have an experience somewhat similar to King Benjamin’s people or the people at the land Bountiful gathering to hear the word of the Lord. They were able to “marvel and wonder one with another” concerning changes that had taken place. Truly, we have all been through many changes in the past years that we can share with each other. We have been given much, and feel this is the time to reflect on what has been given to us.
Venue For The Conference
We are very pleased to announce that Friday’s and Saturday’s Cedaredge events will all take place at Camp Cedaredge, located a few minutes north of the town of Cedaredge just off of the highway in a grove of trees for privacy. This venue allows us to begin Friday with a Passover meal for approximately 300 people. The following day we have the camp all day, and most of the facilities that are there. There is a lot of room for the kids to play on the playground, and babysitting will be organized to allow parents to take turns in going to the events that are planned. We are also planning to have some activities for youth and young adults.
Options For Lodging
Lodging is limited in the Cedaredge area, so to accommodate those families and individuals who want to be there but may have tight resources, we have secured very affordable lodging options at the camp. There is a dormitory with 360 beds, with 8-10 bunk beds in most rooms. Update 4-12-19: The camp is full. No more RSVP’s available.
If you have a confirmed and paid RSVP, please remember to bring your own bedding.
Grand Junction will be the location for the Sunday events, and that would also be a suitable location to secure lodging. The camp is about 1 hour and 5 minutes from downtown Grand Junction.
Please do not call the camp, All lodging reservations should be done through the fellowship coordinator via email at: email@example.com. When you contact the coordinators, they will send you the detailed information on lodging, answer any questions, and then make a reservation for you. If you plan to attend any of the events taking place on Friday or Saturday please contact the fellowship via the above email to let them know so we can get a head count for the activities and meals.
The camp staff will prepare the meals for the group and they need to be paid for by each individual. We request that you send in payment for meals/lodging about a month before the conference to a Paypal account that will be posted at that time. The fellowship will pay for the Passover meal, so each person only needs to pay for the meals on Saturday at the camp. On Sunday each person is free to get their meals wherever they want.
The Camp is Full
Update 4-12-19: The lodging reservations at the camp are completely filled up. Attendees are still welcome to come to the conference, but will need to find lodging elsewhere. The Passover and other meals are also completely booked. If you do not already have an RSVP for meals from the camp, be sure to make arrangements to bring your own meals that can be consumed outside the dining hall as no outside food is allowed in the hall.
We are a fellowship located in the Cedaredge, CO and extended area. We are paying for several venues and will be providing several meals.
We ask that if you feel prompted to contribute to the conference preparation, that you email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Someone from the fellowship will contact you with further details.
Any donations that exceed our needs will be used to assist those in need coming to the conference. Any leftover donations will be given to the Temple Fund.
