Western Colorado / Grand Mesa Area
Fri-Sat-Sun | 19-21 April 2019
Organizers from the local fellowship have secured all locations and have the following announcements of events that are planned. Now is the time to get your reservations and to RSVP so the organizers will know what we need to plan for.
We are very excited as we have locations that will allow us to really spend a lot of time with one another and have an experience somewhat similar to King Benjamin’s people or the people at the land Bountiful gathering to hear the word of the Lord. They were able to “marvel and wonder one with another” concerning changes that had taken place. Truly, we have all been through many changes in the past years that we can share with each other. We have been given much, and feel this is the time to reflect on what has been given to us.
Venue For The Conference
We are very pleased to announce that Friday’s and Saturday’s Cedaredge events will all take place at Camp Cedaredge, located a few minutes north of the town of Cedaredge just off of the highway in a grove of trees for privacy. This venue allows us to begin Friday with a Passover meal for approximately 300 people. The following day we have the camp all day, and most of the facilities that are there. There is a lot of room for the kids to play on the playground, and babysitting will be organized to allow parents to take turns in going to the events that are planned. We are also planning to have some activities for youth and young adults.
Options For Lodging
Lodging is limited in the Cedaredge area, so to accommodate those families and individuals who want to be there but may have tight resources, we have secured very affordable lodging options at the camp. There is a dormitory with 360 beds, with 8-10 bunk beds in most rooms. A family can have one of those rooms and use the facilities there. There are plenty of tent campsites and RV spots available as well as plenty of space in the dorm for all who desire to come.
Grand Junction will be the location for the Sunday events, and that would also be a suitable location to secure lodging. The camp is about 1 hour and 5 minutes from downtown Grand Junction.
Please do not call the camp, All reservations should be done through the fellowship coordinator via email at: firstname.lastname@example.org. When you contact the coordinators, they will send you the detailed information on lodging, answer any questions, and then make a reservation for you. If you plan to attend any of the events taking place on Friday or Saturday please contact the fellowship via the above email to let them know so we can get a head count for the activities and meals.
The camp staff will prepare the meals for the group and they need to be paid for by each individual. We request that you send in payment for meals/lodging about a month before the conference to a paypal account that will be posted at that time. The fellowship will pay for the Passover meal, so each person only needs to pay for the meals on Saturday at the camp. On Sunday each person if free to get their meals wherever they want.
RSVP for The Conference
We ask that if you are planning on attending the Conference that you will RSVP, so we can plan accordingly. This Conference will be an “experiment on the word.” In order to have the best experience it will be necessary to be there in person. We hope this announcement gives people the time to plan and make plans to be there.
We understand that all will not be able to attend, yet if you can plan now, it will be well worth the effort as this will be more like a three day retreat. Further information and details will be coming in January. Note: there is no automatic response acknowledging each RSVP submission. A master list is being updated each day for the organizer’s use.

Passover Meal – Cedaredge, CO
We put out the Hebrew invitation of “let all who hunger come and eat.” As we have gone about the processes of planning, it’s been impressed upon all of us the unique opportunity we have, to be able to gather as a Covenant people and honor the Passover. In Temple 6 Podcast we were taught that the Passover would be included with the Feasts that will be at the Temple…
The only one that existed from the days of Adam to Noah to Abraham that got added, that will be observed, is the Passover. Because the Passover was added as an additional testimony, given in the days of Moses, to point forward specifically to the sacrifice of the Paschal Lamb (whose blood would save Israel), with a command that it got preserved. So even though it got added and wasn’t part of that original, the addition at the time of the Passover itself was an event symbolizing liberation from the world, coming out from under the bondage of Egypt (which is what its last-days people are supposed to ultimately achieve), coming out from under the influence of the head of gold and the Medes, the Persians, the Greeks, the Romans, and the modern-day kingdoms—being liberated from all of that. And at the same time, being liberated as a consequence of the blood of the Lamb. So the addition of the Paschal Lamb, and that feast, is going to stand at the renewal.
We understand we still do not have all that will be revealed about the Passover and the Feasts, yet this will be the first time as a Covenant people that the Passover can be observed together at a Conference. We hope to feed all who want to come. We encourage all to participate in this feast whether you can come to the conference or not.
Even if you are not able to make the dinner that night it would be a wonderful time to gather your local family and friends and offer your prayers and thanks for the Paschal Lamb that has made this all possible. Please RSVP if you can attend. The RSVP link below is different from the Conference RSVP link above. Please be assured your information will be kept confidential. Comments are welcome.

General Session – Cedaredge CO
Breakout Sessions and Lunch
Saturday will have many events that will be necessary to attend to get the full impact of what is being offered. The day will begin together with a welcome, a few talks, and items of importance to the movement, and musical numbers that hopefully will set the tone for the rest of the day.
Later in the morning there will be breakout sessions that will have various topics that have been restored during the last few years. These will be focused on what Joseph Smith and Denver Snuffer have restored. Each person attending will have a moment, if they desire, to share how these topics and subjects have changed their lives and what they have learned.
The hope is to review and reflect upon what has been given us. We will be posting the topics for these sessions, and hope that all will come having studied the word. These activities are based on the following instructions from Teachings and Commandments, Section 86…
…Therefore, verily I say unto you my friends, call your solemn assembly as I have commanded you, and as all have not faith, seek you diligently and teach one another words of Wisdom, yea, seek you out of the best books words of Wisdom. Seek learning, even by study and also by faith. Organize yourselves, prepare every needful thing…
…Appoint among yourselves a teacher, and let not all be spokesmen at once, but let one speak at a time and let all listen unto his sayings that when all have spoken, that all may be edified of all, and that every man may have an equal privilege.
We hope to “experiment on the word,” and practice what has been given us. We look forward to experiencing this new practice, and hope to be of one heart and one mind.
